View from the cottageGolygfa Preseli is across the road from a farm, home of the owners Ieuan and Jan Griffiths and family. We do allow you to bring up to 2 well behaved dogs, but ask that they are kept under control at all times, in order to safeguard our animals. The area is very rural, and many wild animals and birds can be seen – rabbits, bats, buzzards and red kites to name a few. This is a great place to unwind, relax, and enjoy the countryside, or to try outdoor and water sports, available for all levels of ability. Details of many local attractions are available in the cottage.

The village of Llanboidy is steeped in history, with many of the original buildings, made with stone from local quarries. It is mainly an agricultural area, with footpaths to give adequate scope for a family walk or a more adventurous hike. Llanboidy has a local shop and post office, a bi-lingual Church and a Welsh chapel. It is 6 miles from the main A40, and the towns of St. Clears and Whitland. Crymych is 8 miles north on the A478 Cardigan to Tenby road.

    The All Wales Coast path

The Cardiganshire coast, with its new coast path linking with the Pembrokeshire coast path, right around to the bays of Carmarthenshire are all within easy driving distance. Oakwood theme park and Folly Farm are just two of the many local tourist attractions.
