Entrance to the cottage off the council road is hard stone, with a level concrete area in front of the doorway. A step of 6” + 3” threshold leads into the passageway. The front door is 32” wide. Wheelchair access is easier through patio doors into the lounge, ramp available if required, by prior arrangement.

All interior doors are 32” wide.

The passageway is not less than 44” wide.

There are no steps inside the cottage.

Electric sockets are between 18” and 24” from the floor.

Light switches are between 42” and 48” from the floor, with a lamp beside each bed.

Bedroom and lounge floors are wooden, others are slate. Walls are off-white.

Bedroom 1 has double bed, 26” high, en-suite wc and walk in shower. A child’s bed can be added to the room.

Bedroom 2 has 2 single beds, 23” high.

Bedroom 3 has double bed 25” high.

Large bathroom has space saver bath, and walk in shower 38” x 45”.

Separate wc and washbasin is compact and convenient.

Lounge has 3 x 2 seater settees, seats 17” high. Digital, colour TV and DVD player with remote controls. Log burner has door or spark guard on hearth 3” high.

Kitchen has wooden dining table, and chairs 17” high. Work surfaces are 36” high, with electric sockets above.

Electric emergency lighting is fitted, and there are 2 smoke alarms. There is a carbon monoxide alarm in the lounge. All pillows, mattress covers and duvets are hypoallergenic. Bed linen and towels are cotton or polyester or a combination.

There is reception for Orange and Vodafone mobile phones. Others unknown.
